Abstrak

The digital transformation of higher education institutions has increased the need for integrated information systems to support alumni services and career center management. However, many universities still rely on conventional or separated systems that are not capable of providing integrated alumni data management, career information services, and community interaction in a single platform. This study aims to implement a web-based alumni and career center information system using the Single Page Application (SPA) approach to support the digitalization of alumni services in higher education institutions.

The research applied an implementation-based method consisting of problem identification, system requirement analysis, system modeling using Unified Modeling Language (UML), system implementation, and software testing. The system was developed using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with a client-side SPA architecture. System evaluation was conducted through white box and black box testing methods to analyze system logic and functional performance.

The results showed that the implemented system successfully integrated alumni management, career information services, community interaction, and user contribution features into a single responsive web platform. The SPA architecture improved user experience through dynamic navigation without full page reloads. The white box testing produced a Cyclomatic Complexity value of 3, indicating that the authentication module had a simple and testable logic structure. Furthermore, black box testing demonstrated that all main system functions operated according to the designed requirements.

In conclusion, the proposed system can support the digital transformation of alumni and career center services in higher education institutions. The implementation of SPA architecture also provides a more responsive and interactive user experience compared to conventional web applications
